GOSEVA SAMITI
A sanctuary of compassion, protection, and seva for Gau Mata, located near the sacred land of Ranthambore, Sawai Madhopur.
Under the guidance of Shree Radha Krishna Gau Seva Samiti, Bheru Darwaja, Sawai Madhopur (Rajasthan), our Gaushala was established in 1997 on an area of 1,000 square meters with just 25 abandoned and helpless cows. With the support of kind-hearted devotees, arrangements for shelter, water, and nutritious food were made.
Today, the Gaushala has expanded to nearly 6,000 square meters. After being registered with the Rajasthan Cooperative Society in 2004, the number of cows and facilities steadily increased.
In 2007, registration with the Rajasthan Department of Animal Husbandry marked a new chapter in structured cow protection and welfare.
In 2015, an ambulance service was introduced for sick and accident-injured stray cows, along with a dedicated medical ward. Since 2021, the Gaushala has been caring for over 1,100 cows.
Our team includes 22+ staff members, a volunteer veterinary doctor, a government-appointed assistant veterinarian, and a private health inspector.
Recognized as the best Gaushala in the district and honored three times by the Government of Rajasthan, our Gaushala provides:
Our campus also includes a Panchgavya Medical Center, a Reading Room, Gau Gopal Temple, and an eco-friendly Gau Kasht system for cremation purposes.
Renovated in 2025, and further developed in 2026 with a bird house for 3,000 birds, our Gaushala continues to grow as a center of compassion.
Operated by 21 management committee members and 25 dedicated staff, our mission is to rescue injured cows, provide lifelong care, and ensure dignity, comfort, and protection in every season — summer, monsoon, and winter.
